This catalogue was published in the occasion of the exhibition Constructing Constructivism, curated by Carlota Perez-Appelbaum at JCMAC’s Miami Design District space, on view December 1, 2017 – October 15, 2018.
Constructing Constructivism, presented key works from the collection to explore how in the postwar era, a number of artists around the globe shared an interest in discovering what was at stake in the early days of abstraction.
The catalogue features texts by Juan Carlos Maldonado and Carlota Perez-Appelbaum and includes biographies of the 33 participating artists as well as illustrations of the works.
