‘The Juan Carlos Maldonado Collection in Time The Rigor of Geometric Shapes’, curated by Ariel Jimenez, presents Juan Carlos Maldonado’s reflections of his journey as a collector. From the first works to how the collection evolved from a Venezuelan and Latin American one to a repository that could be said to be universal, embracing within its bosom the works of artists working in different countries, continents, and cultures – all of them, however, sharing a common passion: the rigor of geometric shapes and the quiet poetry that characterizes them.
